Project management with Audi

AUDI Ingolstadt safety chemistry and process engineering

 Since 1994 Hermann Götz  is the responsible tdb project manager and since then he developed the following systems for the car manufacturer AUDI and introduced them into operational practice:

• System for material evaluation within the divisions process engineering, health protection, fire protection and industrial safety. The system is company-wide available for a defined user group.
• Dangerous material management system as information system to material, material components, reaction products with fire, safety references, places of work and consumed quantities. The system is company-wide available over the Intranet.
• System for the collection of all unproductive materials, which are used at the different vehicles during the assembly. The system is company-wide available for the divisions purchase and Controlling.
• Message of change of material employment: The system is company-wide available for a defined user group.
• Hazardous substance release note: The system is company-wide available on all jobsplaces of work.
• The transports database is a complete database of all materials AUDI has to classify as hazardous substance and covers all regulations which must be obeyed with a road transport or an air freight.

He is not only responsible for the technical conversion of a software, but also for the advisory activity at the structure of a company-wide materials information system and the interface management with all further existing systems as well as the introduction and following training of the personnel in the appropriate specialized divisions.
